Section 01
Getting Started & Eligibility
Who qualifies for a small business loan from ABC Funding?
Most U.S.-based businesses that have been operating for at least 6 months and generate at least $10,000 per month in average revenue are eligible to apply. We work with sole proprietors, LLCs, S-Corps, and C-Corps across virtually every industry — from construction and retail to food service and professional services. If you're not sure you qualify, the fastest way to find out is to apply: our application takes about 5 minutes and won't affect your credit score.
How long does my business need to have been operating?
We generally require at least 6 months in business. Some products and higher loan amounts may require 12 months or more of operating history. If you're newer than 6 months, we recommend applying once you hit that milestone — and a specialist can walk you through what to expect.
What industries does ABC Funding work with?
We fund businesses across more than 700 industries, including construction, trucking, restaurants, retail, healthcare, salons, auto repair, professional services, landscaping, and many more. There are a small number of restricted industries (such as cannabis, adult entertainment, and nonprofits) where we cannot currently provide funding — contact us if you're unsure about yours.
Can I apply if my business is a sole proprietorship?
Yes. Sole proprietors, independent contractors, and self-employed individuals can apply. You may use your Social Security Number in place of an EIN. The same revenue and time-in-business requirements apply.
Can I apply for funding in all 50 states?
ABC Funding serves businesses across all 50 U.S. states. Eligibility criteria and available products may vary slightly by state due to local lending regulations, but in most cases the process and requirements are the same regardless of where your business operates.
Section 02
Speed & Funding
How fast can I get approved for a small business loan?
Most applicants receive a conditional approval decision within minutes of submitting their application. A dedicated funding specialist then reviews your file, which typically takes the same business day. Formal approval can often happen within hours of the initial application.
How quickly will I receive the money after I'm approved?
After you accept your offer, funds are typically deposited into your business bank account in as little as 24 hours — and in many cases, the same business day. Transfer speed can also depend on your bank's processing times. We always give you a realistic timeline before you sign.
Is there a minimum or maximum amount I can borrow?
Funding starts at $5,000 and goes up to $500,000 depending on the product and your business's revenue. Your funding specialist will help you identify an amount that fits your needs and that your cash flow can comfortably support.
Can I get funded on the same day I apply?
Same-day funding is sometimes possible, particularly for returning clients or businesses with straightforward profiles. It depends on when you apply, how quickly you provide any needed documents, and your bank's ACH processing cutoffs. We never guarantee same-day funding, but we always move as fast as we can.
Section 03
Rates, Terms & Repayment
What interest rates does ABC Funding charge?
Rates vary by product, funding amount, business strength, and the partner lender matched to your file. Working capital and short-term products typically use a factor rate (a fixed multiplier on the borrowed amount), while lines of credit use a periodic interest rate. Your offer will clearly show the total repayment amount and cost before you sign — no surprises.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. ABC Funding is committed to full transparency. Your offer letter will detail every cost, including any origination fees, before you accept. There are no prepayment penalties on most products, and you'll never be surprised by charges that weren't disclosed upfront.
How does repayment work?
Repayment structure depends on the product you choose. Short-term loans and working capital products typically have daily or weekly automatic debits from your business bank account. Business lines of credit usually have monthly minimum payments. Equipment financing is repaid in fixed monthly installments. Your specialist will explain the cadence before you sign.
Can I pay off my loan early?
In most cases, yes. Many of ABC Funding's products allow early payoff — and for factor-rate products, early payoff often results in a discount on the remaining balance. Ask your specialist about early-payoff terms for the specific product you're offered.
What happens if I miss a payment?
If you anticipate difficulty making a payment, contact your funding specialist as soon as possible. We work with clients to find solutions before a missed payment becomes a problem. Consistent, on-time repayment also helps you qualify for larger or better-rate funding in the future.
Section 04
Credit & Documents
What credit score do I need to qualify?
There is no fixed minimum credit score. ABC Funding's underwriting focuses primarily on your monthly business revenue and cash flow, not your personal credit score alone. Many business owners with personal credit scores below 600 — even those who have been declined by banks — have successfully received funding through our network. A higher score can help unlock better terms, but it is not a barrier to getting started.
Will applying hurt my credit score?
No. Submitting an application and checking your options with ABC Funding involves only a soft credit inquiry, which does not affect your credit score in any way. A hard pull only occurs if you formally accept an offer and proceed to closing — and we always notify you before that happens.
What documents will I need to provide?
To complete the initial application, you'll typically need: basic business information (name, industry, state, EIN or SSN), your average monthly revenue, and how long you've been in business. For final approval, you may be asked for 3 months of recent business bank statements. Tax returns, financial statements, and extensive paperwork are generally not required.
Can I qualify if I've been declined by a bank?
Often, yes. Banks apply strict, credit-score-heavy underwriting that excludes many healthy, revenue-generating businesses. ABC Funding works with a private lending network that evaluates your actual cash flow and business performance. Many clients who were declined by traditional lenders have found funding through ABC Funding.
Will my personal finances be considered?
A soft personal credit check is part of the initial application, but the primary factor in our decisions is your business revenue and cash flow — not your personal financial situation. In most cases, no personal guarantee or collateral is required for standard working capital and short-term products.
